King County Elections released the fourth round of election results for Tuesday’s General Election Friday afternoon, and there’s been a dramatic shift in two SeaTac City Council races:

  • Senayet Negusse is now leading Tony Anderson by 21 (previously Anderson was up by 82 votes).
  • Takele Gobena has also taken the lead over incumbent Stan Tombs by 138 votes (previously Tombs led by 54).

  • Peter Kwon: 2,812 • 57.32 %
  • Damiana Merryweather: 2,081 • 42.42 %
  • Write-in: 13 • 0.26 %

Council Position No. 5:

  • Stan Tombs: 2,394 • 48.47 %
  • Takele Gobena: 2,532 • 51.27 %
  • Write-in: 13 • 0.26 %

Council Position No. 7:

  • Mohamed Ali Egal: 2,027 • 41.01 %
  • Erin Sitterley: 2,899 • 58.65 %
  • Write-in: 17 • 0.34 %
