The SeaTac Police Department is seeking the public’s help finding any information about the thieves who stole a trailer early Monday morning from near 208th and International Blvd. in SeaTac (map below).

The trailer – which belongs to race driver Steve Huff – was recovered damaged, but the thieves are still at large.

Police say that a male and two females stole the trailer from a parking lot around 5 a.m. early Monday, Sept. 16, using ratchet straps, which damaged the tongue jack. The thieves apparently dragged the trailer down the street before abandoning it at some apartments east of International Blvd.

The females served as lookouts while the male tried to cut off the tow lock unsuccessfully.

“I had a trailer stolen last night at 5 a.m.; it was dragged away with ratchet straps,” Steve Huff said. “They could not get the tongue locks off. The trailer was taken down the street and broken into. We have recovered the trailer. Share and help find these chicken shit POS.”

The case # is C19035522, and anyone with any information is asked to call (206) 296-3311.
