Highline Garden Tour Will Feature SeaTac Garden Transformation Saturday

iCal Import
Start:
June 9, 2012
Venue:
Highline Garden Tour
Address:
SeaTac, WA, United States

When Geraldine Yesenosky bought her SeaTac home 18 years ago, she took on a muddy front yard and an overgrown backyard that eventually divulged a broken toilet, a rusted truck and other items of junk.

Yesenosky set to work. With fond memories of time spent in the garden of her grandfather, who had been a Kansas City florist, she wanted to create a similar place where her kids and grandkids would love to spend time.

Over the last 18 years, she has converted her property from a muddy yard to an inviting bower filled with old-fashioned flowers, trees, ponds, and seating areas. From March thru the first freeze of winter, there is always something blooming – come see for yourself during the upcoming Highline Garden Tour, taking place this Saturday, June 9.

Yesenosky’s garden is one of seven gardens in SeaTac, Burien, and Normandy Park to be featured that day.

The Garden Tour will take place this coming Saturday, June 9. Advance tickets for the Highline Garden Tour are only $15, with group rates of $12 per person if bought in groups of four or more. Tickets will be $18 on the day of the tour. Tickets can be purchased in Burien at:
