The City Council has set a date for its next informal meeting with the citizenry of our fair city.
In order to meet with our neighbors in a more relaxed, informal environment, Councilmembers will be holding Council Coffee Chats in the community. Please join us for a cup of coffee and to discuss issues that are important to you.
As additional Coffee Chats are scheduled, the information will be posted on the web at http://www.ci.seatac.wa.us/ and on bulletin boards at City facilities. To sign up for notification, please visit the City website and click on the “I want to” on the banner, “sign up for”, “e-notification”. Coffee Chats are sent out via e-notification under the category of “community events”.
Really, it’s easier to sign up for notifications than it sounds… or you can just rely on us to pass along word when they’re scheduled!
There’s no substitute for keeping yourself informed and getting involved. The City website is chock full of info about what’s taking place
Don’t be a whiner… be an actor!

I hope you are not getting this twice as I was already started when my this page disappeared. Anyways I was saying that I moved into Seatac about 2 years ago. I have noticed increasingly garbage in peoples yards as well as old furniture with free signs on them near the road for days and days. I have also noticed people in my neighborhood are not taking care of the grass in and around their yards. I have seen several houses with grass two feet high. I have been wondering what if anything the City of Seatac is doing to combat this problem. I am starting to think that a manditory garbage collection should be a policy. I honestly dont like government telling me what I need and dont need however. It seems that there are many people who wont dispose of their garbage without incentive. Thank you for reading
