Thursday is Chamber Day in SeaTac

The Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce has a lot to offer this Thursday, and they want you to get in on the action.

First, start off your day at an education committee meeting where Catherine Carbone Rodgers of the Highline School Board will give a presentation on the upcoming school levy (remember, that’s on the ballot for Feb. 8). The meeting will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the chamber building along Interurban Ave. South.

Next, for those who do business or would like to do business in SeaTac, head over to the Dollar Rent A Car Board Room on South 176th Street from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the quarterly SeaTac business committee meeting. This will be the first meeting of the year, and the next isn’t scheduled until April.

Finally, the real fun starts at 5 p.m., at which time the SeaTac community is invited to the January Business After Hours event at Bajio Mexican Grill located next the Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant. Food will be served, but the chamber asks those planning to attend to RSVP so they know how many to expect.

Chamber members may also want to consider the 2011 Event Package, which makes for a real money saver if you attend at least 12 chamber events per year.
