Des Moines Rotary’s 7th Annual Poverty Bay Wine Festival will be the hottest ticket in town when it’s held at Des Moines’ historic and grand Landmark Event Center the weekend of March 4th, 5th and 6th.
Opening night will be Friday, March 4th, and this year, in addition to enjoying outstanding live jazz in a historic setting for a great cause, you’ll be able to sample from 22 Northwest wines such as Five Star Cellars, Tempus Cellars and Vashon Winery, as well as groove on the dance floor to the sounds of Tor Dietrichson’s Band Mambo Cadillac.
Plus, opening night will be “Fifteen Token Friday,” which means you’ll receive five extra tasting tokens for the price of ten!

Free parking and a free shuttle service will run from the Des Moines Marina to the Landmark Event Center all three days of the festival. Limited paid parking will be available on site for $10.00.

The historic Landmark Event Center, which once housed a Masonic Retirement Home (and allegedly houses a ghost named “George“), is located at 23660 Marine View Drive South in Des Moines.
