Nine hearty SeaTac residents started off 2011 by braving the chilly waters of Angle Lake on New Year’s Day morning (Saturday, Jan. 1st) for the third annual “Polar Bear Plunge,” which took place at 10am under clear blue sunny, yet wintry, skies.
With some in costume, others shivering from the 36-degree air temps, and more watching than participating, it was a lively, fun event.
